Term 3 Applications Now Open
Apply to join our professionally facilitated Mother’s Group in South West Sydney.
The first session on Wednesday 22 July 2026 is an introductory trial/intake session for mums interested in joining the ongoing Term 3 program.
After the trial session, limited ongoing places will be offered for the 10-week Term 3 program, running from July to September 2026.
Find your people during your baby’s first year
Motherhood can feel surprisingly lonely, even when you are rarely alone.
This group gives you a warm, welcoming place to meet other local mums, talk honestly about early motherhood and build genuine friendships over time.
Alongside the social connection, an experienced facilitator offers gentle, evidence-informed guidance about babies, development and parenting.
There is no pressure to have everything figured out.
Your baby is welcome exactly as they are
Your baby can cry, feed, sleep, wriggle, need cuddles or have a difficult day.
You will not be expected to make your baby perform, follow a schedule or participate in a particular way.
Many mums arrive feeling nervous or knowing nobody. The group is intentionally small, gentle and easy to join.

Term 3 Trial Session Date: Wednesday 22nd July 2026
You will meet the facilitator, connect with other mums and experience the group as it will run during the term.
After the trial, a limited number of ongoing Term 3 places will be offered to families looking for regular weekly connection and support.
If you are offered and accept a place, you would usually continue in the same weekly group time from Week 2 to Week 10.
A place where both you and your baby matter
Mums in our groups tell us they value:
having somewhere to look forward to each week
meeting kind, understanding mums
building genuine connections rather than attending another activity
receiving trusted guidance without judgement
having support that considers both mum and baby
knowing their baby will be welcomed as they are
What happens in the group?
Sessions are relaxed, social and shaped around the mums and babies attending.
There is time to chat, get to know each other, follow your baby’s cues and explore topics such as:
baby development and cues
play and movement
sleep and daily rhythms
feeding and starting solids
bonding and connection
adjusting to motherhood
maternal wellbeing
The group combines genuine peer connection with professional facilitation and practical, evidence-informed support.
There is no single “right” way to parent, and no previous knowledge or particular parenting approach is required.
This group may be right for you if you want:
local mum friends
a supportive weekly routine
genuine conversation without judgement
reassurance amid conflicting parenting advice
professional facilitation without a clinical atmosphere
a small, consistent group rather than a busy drop-in class
somewhere that cares about you as well as your baby

Your Questions, Answered
-
No. We begin with an introductory trial session so you can get a feel for the group and we can make sure it feels like a good fit.
Ongoing places are limited, and after the trial they are offered to families who are likely to benefit from the continued support and connection.
If you are offered and accept a place, we ask that you attend regularly where possible, so relationships can grow and the group can develop a warm, connected feel.
-
Yes. Most mums come without knowing anyone. The group is specifically designed to make genuine connection easier.
-
Absolutely. Feeding, crying, sleeping and needing to be held are all welcome.
To support the health, safety and wellbeing of the group, please let us know if you or your baby are unwell and unable to attend. If you miss the trial session due to illness, we can arrange a make-up trial where possible.

Professionally facilitated programs are expensive to run, and most similar mother–baby support programs involve a cost to participants.
As part of our mission to make this kind of support more widely accessible, the Term 3 program is currently fully subsidised in select locations for families offered a place and likely to benefit from continued support.
This means there is no participation fee for families offered a Term 3 place. Please reserve a trial place only if you are genuinely interested in joining a regular weekly group if offered an ongoing place.
