Community Code of Communication & Ethics.

An agreement to keep our space safe, respectful and supportive.

1. Respect & Kindness

We communicate with gentleness and respect.
Please avoid judgement, criticism, or language that could feel shaming or divisive.
This is a space where every mother should feel safe, supported, and welcomed exactly as she is.

2. Focus on Our Shared Purpose

This community exists to support nurturing relationships, sensitive caregiving, and the wellbeing of mothers and babies.
To protect this focus, we avoid polarising conversations (e.g., politics or religion) and keep the group centred on learning, connection, and mutual support.

3. Speak Only for Yourself

Use “I” language and share from your own lived experience.
Avoid generalisations or speaking on behalf of others.
We aim to make room for every mother’s unique voice.

4. Non-Partisanship

NBM is a non-political, inclusive initiative.
We do not assume shared political or ideological beliefs.
What unites us is our commitment to nurturing babies, supporting mothers, and building a compassionate community.

5. Constructive Dialogue & Conflict Resolution

Differences in perspective are welcome — disrespect is not.
We share with openness, curiosity, and humility, and we seek to understand rather than correct.
If tension arises, please address it privately and respectfully.
Guides are here to support the tone of the space, not to mediate personal conflicts.
Let’s engage with compassion, maturity, and care for one another.

6. Confidentiality

This is a trusted space.
Please do not screenshot, forward, or share anyone’s story or message outside the group without their explicit consent.

7. No Promotions or Spam

To keep this space clean and supportive, avoid sharing promotional content, business links, or unrelated material unless approved by an admin.

8. Awareness of Emotional Reactions

If something feels triggering or overwhelming, it’s okay to pause.
Take a moment to breathe, ground, or step away, and return only when you feel ready.
We aim to contribute from a place of calm, safety, and respect.
